Tracey qualified in 2005 as a sports & remedial massage therapist and is currently studying for a master's degree in Osteopathy. She has a background in Occupational health and Health & Well-being.
Trained originally in Hampshire in Swedish & Sports massage she has since developed advanced techniques through CPD courses, a variety of these skills are used to give a truly individualized massage treatment to release muscle tension and restore a balance to the body & mind.
Tracey has a varied sporting background playing Hockey, Netball and squash in the past and has a great interest in MTBiking, Mountaineering, Climbing, Horse riding and Skiing she has even ridden across the Atlas mountains on off-road motor bikes.
She enjoys a challenge and has worked with a variety of people to affect a treatment that relieve the stresses and strains of life and work, from the overzealous weekend D.I.Y strain, postural aches & pains and sports people such as Tri-athletes, Adventure racers and Rowers.
Massage helps to prevent illness and injury, by calming the central nervous system, promotes blood, lymph and fluid movement that relaxation and relieving stress and daily tension. Ideally remedial massage should be used as a preventative form of treatment, removing pain and dysfunction, creating balance and a sense of relaxation and well-being. |
