Bria David
Senior Physiotherapist

Bria graduated from Curtin University of Technology in Perth Western Australia in1999. She has since worked extensively in Australia and throughout the United Kingdom, in both NHS and private practice settings. She has also worked and traveled as team physiotherapist with football and hockey teams in Australia.
Bria has extensive musculoskeletal experience treating back and neck problems, and has a special interest in sports injuries. Given her broad hospital experience, Bria is well equipped to help rehabilitate clients after orthopaedic surgery, and facilitate the return to sport or work. She also has experience working with women's health patients, including pregnancy related and continence issues.
Bria has completed additional training in the use of acupuncture, which she finds an excellent adjunct to physiotherapy techniques for its pain relieving and healing effects. She is a member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association in Chartered Physiotherapy). Bria also has a strong interest in core stability training for improving posture and reducing pain.

Gavan is a graduate from the Latrobe University School of Physiotherapy in Melbourne, Australia, and has been practicing extensively in the private sector both there and here in London. With a keen interest in contact sports, having played at various levels for over 14 years in his native code of Australian Rules Football and Cricket, he has gained widespread experience diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating semi-professional and professional sportsmen across multiple disciplines. Gavan also enjoys treating spinal related postural conditions of both the neck and lower back using various techniques such as implementing tailored core stability exercise programs.
Katriona Macklin

Podiatrist and Chiropodist
Katriona Macklin studied Podiatric Medicine in Edinburgh, graduating with a BSc. (Hons) in 1999. Prior to training, Katriona spent a year working in a leprosy colony in India and after graduating she worked for five years within the NHS. When working for the NHS Katriona gained all round clinical experience including three years of working within acute diabetes at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
She has gone on to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal diagnosis, a certificate in Podiatric dry needling (acupuncture within the lower limbs) and has recently gained a Masters in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics.
She has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, however, enjoys all clinical aspects of Podiatry including nail surgery and routine chiropody.

Denzil studied Podiatric Medicine at the London Foot Hospital, University College London, graduating with a BSc. (Hons) in 2004.
After graduating he worked for the NHS in Lambeth PCT for 5 years, where he was able to gain all round clinical experience in a diagnosing and treating a variety of foot pathologies.
Denzil worked within a high risk Diabetic Centres both at King’s College Hospital and St Thomas’ treating critical care patients. In the last 2 years Denzil became the Lambeth PCT department lead for the Musculoskeletal Foot and Ankle centre.
Denzil has developed a keen interest in sports related foot problems and injuries.He has worked in Harley Street for several years treating complex problems for a wide range of athletic disciplines. However, he also enjoys all clinical aspects of Podiatry including nail surgery and routine chiropody.
Denzil continues to develop his skills, regularly attending seminars and networking with his peers both locally and nationally.
Lucy Potter
Sports Massage Therapist
Lucy graduated from the Manchester School of Massage in 1995 and has been practicing sports massage for eleven years. She completed a Diploma in Management of Activity Sports Injuries at St Mary's University in 2006 and having retired as a professional dancer after seventeen years she now works as a sports massage therapist at various clubs and locations across London. She has gained valuable experience working in particular with professional dancers but also enjoys working with a wide selection of people from marathon runners to stressed Mums! Lucy is also a practicing yoga enthusiast and has been teaching yoga for the last six years.
Brian Swanton
Sports Massage Therapist
Brian first trained as a holistic massage therapist in 2002. He worked extensively with dancers, joining them on tour. Brian qualified as a Sports Massage therapist in 2005. Since then he has been working with private clients at sporting events, sports clubs and on-site massage. He focuses on treating the cause of the problems instead of the symptoms. Brian has a particular interest in sports injuries and has a detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Brian was a professional dancer or over 10 years.
Giuseppe Cappello
Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist LSSM (DIP._ M.SMA, ISRM
Giuseppe graduated from Central University Italy in 1998 as a sports Therapist. Prior to training, Giuseppe spent 12 months working at the US Palermo Youth Football Academy as a Sport coach trainee. He then moved to London in 2002 and went to study at the London School of Sports Massage to gain a Diploma in sports massage.
Since then He has archived a strong base of experience in manor sports injuries with Rugby Players at Richmond Rugby Club, and football players at Fulham FC, in the meantime Giuseppe gained a Certificate in Management and Treatment of sports injury and pitch-side therapist.
He is currently working as a Fitness and Football coach for Fulham FC sports in the community at Prep. Schools, Teaching health & fitness principles and football skills to children 7 to 12 years old.
Jane Sattentau
Sports Massage Therapist LSSM DIP. ISRM
Jane is a graduate of the prestigious London School of Sports Massage. She has experience in treating a wide variety of clients including runners, triathletes, professionals, pregnant women and the elderly. Jane has an interest in all types of sport, her main interest being running. She treated runners at the London Marathon this year and regularly participates in races herself. She is also a qualified Yoga teacher and fitness instructor and draws upon her knowledge to treat the root of the problem and give advice on stretching and posture.
Deborah Jones
BSS - Shiatsu Practitioner
Deborah graduated from the British School of Shiatsu-Do in 2003 after completing three years training in Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine, anatomy and physiology. Her final year studies focused on craniosacral therapy, treating addiction, pregnancy and childbirth.
Deborah's knowledge of intuitive bodywork is grounded in 18 years experience as a professional dancer. She performed with the Royal Ballet Company for 8 years from 1982 and went on to dance independently for a further 10 years. Deborah continues her link with dance by teaching workshops in shiatsu to dance students at Laban and London Contemporary Dance School.
Her speciality with shiatsu is helping a client to combat stress and boost their energy levels. She enjoys improving an individual's flexibility both physically and mentally and is especially good at supporting recovery from injury. Deborah believes mobility and good posture are the keys to good health and loves yoga; she has studied various methods (Iyengar, Sivinanda and Ashtanga) for over 10 years. Recent personal development has involved studying 'The Psychology of the Meridians' with the acclaimed shiatsu teacher Ohashi, from the Ohashishiatsu Institute in New York and regularly assisting students at the British School of Shiatsu. Deborah is a member of the Shiatsu Society and abides by their ethical code of practice. She is passionately committed to helping others through the practice of shiatsu and works at various clinics in the London area.
Marion graduated from the University of Westminster with a BSc Hons in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in 2003. After completing her degree she traveled to China to enhance her knowledge in a hospital in Chengdu for 2 months. She has also studied Shiatsu and Swedish massage and can prescribe Chinese Herbal Patent remedies.
Over the past 4 years she had extensive clinical experience working in an NHS based acupuncture clinic in South London called the Gateway, at a drug and alcohol project called The Crossing and privately.
She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and fully insured.
Marion is also one of the yoga teachers here at Seymours.
